Taking Blood for Analysis
What is hukm of blood transfussion while he is fasting which is intended for checking up his health if taken from his right hand and how much we take ?
There is no sin in taking blood while he is fasting as it is intended for analysis or other cause, but it is disliked to take much blood as it will weaken the fasting person
Scholar Thabit Al-Bunani said : Anas Ibn Malik was asked : Did you dislike cupping for the fasting person ? then he said : “No! Except if it will weaken (e.g. sickness)” (Bukhori 4/174).
